WPS Health Solutions
Please reach out to your CSM to confirm once you have completed the required attestation. If you have not completed and confirmed completion of all required attestations by May 11, you will be unable to run Medicare checks.
Use these steps to attest that Nirvana is authorized to run Medicare eligibility checks (270/271) on your behalf through NGS.
Step 1: Open the WPS HETS Attestation Portal
Go to the WPS HETS Attestation page:
https://edi.wpsic.com/HetsAttestation
Before continuing, confirm that you have an active EDI claim agreement in place with WPS. This attestation cannot be completed successfully without an existing EDI claims relationship.
Step 2: Select your WPS jurisdiction
WPS supports two jurisdictions:
- **J5 (**IA, KS, MO, NE)
- **J8 (**IN, MI)
Select the jurisdiction that corresponds to your Medicare enrollment. If you are enrolled in multiple states under WPS, you may need to complete attestation for both jurisdictions.
Step 3: Enter trading partner information
During the attestation process, you will be asked to enter information for the trading partner you are authorizing.
When prompted for the Trading Partner Unique ID, enter: 274B
This Unique ID identifies Stedi (one of Nirvana's clearinghouses) as your authorized trading partner for Medicare eligibility transactions. Confirm that the trading partner name displayed shows Stedi before continuing.
Step 4: Enter provider information
You will be asked to provide standard provider details, including:
- Authorized signer name
- Email address
- PTAN (Provider Transaction Access Number, e.g. A12345)
- NPI
Review all entered information carefully before proceeding.
Step 5: Submit attestation
- Submit the attestation once all required fields are complete
- A confirmation message will display upon successful submission
If applicable, repeat this process for the other jurisdiction (J5 or J8).
