National Government Services (NGS)
Please reach out to your CSM to confirm once you have completed the required attestation. If you have not completed and confirmed completion of all required attestations by May 11, you will be unable to run Medicare checks.
Use these steps to attest that Nirvana is authorized to run Medicare eligibility checks (270/271) on your behalf through NGS.
Step 1: Open the NGS HETS EDI Enrollment Form

Step 2: Authorization
Terms and Conditions
- Review and accept the Terms and Conditions.
- Select Yes or No when asked whether your organization is outside the United States.
- Click Continue.
Authorized Signer Information
- Enter the authorized signer’s:
- First name
- Middle initial (if applicable)
- Last name
- Suffix (if applicable)
- Enter a primary email address (used for enrollment communications).
- Enter a secondary email address (optional).
The signer must match the authorized signer on file in PECOS.
PTAN / NPI Information
- Enter the provider’s PTAN.
- Enter the provider’s NPI.
- Select the appropriate Contractor Code.
- Click Continue.
Step 3: Attestation
Trading Partner (3rd Party Entity)
- In the Unique ID field, enter the Trading Partner Unique ID 274B
- Click Confirm.
- Verify that the Trading Partner name appears and that Match Found is checked.
If the name does not match, stop and verify the Unique ID before continuing.
Provider Information
- Confirm the PTAN, NPI, and Contractor Code auto-populate.
- Click Validate.
Add Entry
- Click Save or Add More to add the entry.
- If needed, you may add additional NPIs or PTANs (up to 25 total).
- Once all entries are added, click Validate.
Step 4: Submit Attestation
- Review the entries listed under Entries on this Attestation.
- Click Submit Attestation.
- Wait for the confirmation screen to appear.
Step 5: Confirmation
- A confirmation screen will display indicating the form has been submitted successfully.
- You may exit, download the attestation, or start a new attestation if needed.
